Volunteers provide an essential service to the not for profit sector. Organisations such as Bladder and Bowel Health Australia benefits tremendously from volunteers who provide their time and share their skills to enhance our products and services. Volunteering provides a valuable service to the community and allows people to learn and share skills.
In addition to our Board Members who act in a voluntary capacity, we have had support from volunteers with the following:
- assistance at events such as sausage sizzles or assisting with morning/ afternoon tea at public seminars
- administrative assistance
- assisting with publicity campaigns and mailouts
- assisting with grant applications and fundraising letters
- assistance with preparing resources
- assistance with social media
Bladder and Bowel Health Australia is a member organisation of Volunteering WA. We provide orientation and training for volunteers specific to the roles that they undertake with us.
